The Virgin in the niche
Maria's mother had entrusted her with the bag with the snack to take to her father in the vineyard.
But she had stopped playing with a friend of hers and had lingered a long time.
When she realized that too much time had passed, she looked for the bag with the food, but could not remember where she had put it, to the point that she was no longer able to find it.
Then, crying, desperate, she prays to the little Madonna who is in the niche at the corner of Piergianni's house, so that she can find what she has lost.
