Provincia di Asti contributes to the promotion of sport in the Asti area, also in favor of young people, creating awareness of how healthy and important a continuous habit of sporting practice, intended as improvement of the quality of individual and family life.
The activity of the Sport Office meets the requests for the concession in use of the gyms to the federations, societies and sports associations, in the schools owned by the Province:
G. A. Giobert Institute of Higher Education of Asti (new and old gym);
F. Vercelli Scientific High School of Asti (double gym);
Nicola Pellati Institute of Higher Education of Nizza Monferrato (new and old gym);
A. Artom State Technical Industrial Institute - Canelli Section;
"De Amicis" Gym of Asti
The gyms can be granted, in extra-school hours, in the period between September and May of each year, upon payment of an hourly rate established annually by the Province of Asti.
