In the building of the former schools of the Villata hamlet, there are the sites of the Supporting Frame Laboratory and the local Civil Protection section.
The Valfenera Supporting Frame Laboratory is a loom weaving project supported by the Parish S. Bartolomeo of Valfenera and the Caritas Diocesana.
The goal is to rediscover an ancient profession and at the same time create a new job opportunity for the less well-off.
Municipal administration of Valfenera has granted the premises in use and allocated an economic contribution for the purchase of the frames.
